Giuliani’s Gals
Manningham United FC has been honoured with its first female team. Know as Giuliani’s Gals, the Under 11’s participated in its first fixture game on Sunday with a resounding 9 – 3 victory against South Yarra.
All the credit must be given to Mark Giuliani who worked tirelessly to form this team. He is supported by his Team Manager, Mary Green, who has shown just as much passion and commitment towards this squad.
The committee wishes them all the best for season 2012

Kit Collection
Could all parents/players please collect their kit on Saturday 14th April at Wilsons Road Reserve - Wilsons Road, Doncaster
The Seniors will be playing during the day, so encourage families to stay and support their team.
Differnt collection times have been allocated to differnt teams to avoid a bottleneck.

Manningham United FC Seniors - Knock Out!!!
Manningham United FC Seniors will be playing in the FFV Knock out Cup. The format of this tournament is based on the English FA Cup.
To support our boys in their first match, we are asking for all members to come along and cheer them to victory.

Bill Bath - Director of Coaching & Player Development
Bill Bath is our clubs new Director of Coaching & Player Development. Bill comes to our club from Doc United and has played for Gillingham Football Club in England. Bill brings with him a wealth of football knowledge and is Coerver trained.
A certified coach, Bill has joined Manningham United to grow our club from our grass roots players and support our many volunteer coaches.

Registration Days
We will be holding our Pre Christmas registration days (below) and would love to see you all there.
Where:
Wilsons Reserve, Wilsons Road, Doncaster (Melway 47 A2)
When:
Wednesday 7th December, 7.00pm to 8.30pm
Sunday 11th December, 10.00am to approx 11.30am
(Minimum deposit of $50.00 per player. Payment in full 5% discount)
(NB Our final registration day will be held early February in 2012)

We have receive interest in the program and would like to invite you all to a Sausage sizzle and a match for the players. This will be only for an hour or so on Monday 12th December, 11. We have applied for Provisional 3 league for 2012.
Given we have had the above accolades and our finishing high on the table in our league, 3rd for Seniors and 2nd for Reserves, we believe we have a good chance to be considered for a place.

Girls Team
If you know of any young ladies who would love to play and be the first to represent our club in 2012 in competition please don’t hesitate to let them know to come along to our registration days.
We are interested in all age groups but in particular U13/14 or U15/16, so really from ages 11 upwards.

2012 Events
Discussion under way for 2 events to be held in 2012, a Trivia Night for Adults and a Family Fun Day.
These to be held during our catch up days during the year and will be advised when available.

After a sterling year for both the Seniors and Reserves who came in Third and second respectively, The club is pleased to announce that Steven Dimitriovski was awarded the Best & Fairest player by the FFV.
